The Lake Harding Leaseholders Association, Inc. was organized in 1986 as a non-profit corporation for the purpose of bringing together all residents of our lake community as a group to promote a community atmosphere, both socially and as an organized voice in matters that might impact our lives and the unique environment of our lake. The membership consists of leaseholders of Georgia Power Company land and individual landowners on the Alabama and Georgia sides of Lake Harding who desire to join the organization. Lake Harding is formed by the Georgia Power Company’s Bartlett’s Ferry Dam (built in 1926) on the Chattahoochee River approximately 20 miles north of Columbus, Georgia and Phenix City, Alabama.
